“This course helped me grow in business — and in my family.” – Mercy Achieng, Kisian, Kisumu County

“As a wife and mother of two, I joined the course hoping to learn a few skills — but I gained much more. I especially loved the bakery and business management classes, but what stood out to me most were the lessons on family and marriage. These have really helped me improve my relationship with my husband and children. Before the course ended, I took a loan from my women’s savings group and bought a charcoal oven. Now I bake scones and sell them at Kisian market. I earn a profit of Sh.200 every day. I am very grateful — this course gave me knowledge, confidence, and a new way to support my family.”
